โšก Power

Power is a rolling measure of player strength โ€” your average base points per counted game. It reflects how well you perform across all modes you play, independent of who you face. Power is displayed in the standings and determines how much your opponents earn for beating you in VS modes.

FormulaPower = average of (base points ร— mode multiplier) across all counted games to date
SnapshotPower is evaluated at the moment a game is submitted โ€” past scores are never retroactively changed
ThresholdA player must have 3 or more counted games before their Power influences opponent scoring โ€” below this, they contribute a neutral 1.0ร— factor

โš–๏ธ Opponent Strength

Points are scaled based on the Power of the players you beat. If you finished last and beat nobody, no differential is applied โ€” you always receive a flat 1.0ร—. This applies to all game modes including GP.

Formulamultiplier = clamp(1 + (avg Power of beaten players โˆ’ your Power) รท 10, 0.5ร—, 2.0ร—)
Pointsbase ร— mode multiplier ร— strength multiplier
Last placeAlways 1.0ร— โ€” no differential applied, no penalty for losing
Equal Power1.0ร— โ€” no bonus or penalty
Upset bonusBeating players whose avg Power is 10+ above yours โ†’ 2.0ร— (ceiling)
Weak fieldBeating players whose avg Power is 5+ below yours โ†’ 0.5ร— (floor)
4P example1st beats 2nd/3rd/4th ยท 2nd beats 3rd/4th ยท 3rd beats 4th ยท 4th beats nobody (1.0ร—)
ThresholdBoth you and the players you beat must have 3+ counted games โ€” unestablished players are excluded from the Power average
SnapshotPower is evaluated at submission time โ€” past scores are never retroactively adjusted

๐Ÿ† Tournaments

Double-elimination bracket format. Points scale with participant count (N) โ€” larger tournaments pay more.

๐Ÿ“… Weekly Game Cap

To keep the standings competitive regardless of how often players can show up, only a limited number of games per week count toward seasonal points.

Cap8 games per calendar week (Monday โ€“ Sunday)

OverflowGames beyond the cap in a given week are recorded but award no seasonal points
